Changing the settings on your Android device is easy!

Accessing the Android settings menu is really easy, there are many different ways to access the menu and we’ll show you the most common ways to access it.

How do you access Android settings on Android Lollipop and Marshmallow?


  1. First drag down from the top of your screen with two fingers, you should see your quick settings menu with options for WiFi and Bluetooth.
  2. In the top right of the screen you should see a cog icon, tap this icon and you will be taken to the settings menu.

This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to access quick settings but it’s only available to newer versions of Android, if you are on an older version of Android however you can try the other methods below.

Another way to access the Android Settings is to use the settings shortcut the app launcher, this method will work on most Android devices.

This method also allows you to put a Settings shortcut onto your homescreen.

  1. Tap the App Launcher icon from the home screen, this icon looks like a solid circle with six dots in the centre but may look different depending what brand of device you have.
  2. Scroll down the list of applications until you find the settings icon, tap on the settings icon and the settings menu will open.
